Engineering & drawings

DI Installaties translates the required operation of a machine into an electrical design. We identify the components, connections and control functions needed and develop electrical schematics and, where required, a 3D layout of the control system.

We support both new designs and modifications to existing machines. We align the drawings with the available information, project agreements and the needs of those who build, program and maintain the equipment. This produces documentation that supports practical implementation.

From design choices to a usable drawing package

A design starts with understanding what the machine must do. We look at power, drives, sensors, actuators and the connection to the control system. Component choices are matched to the application, available space and maintenance. Uncertainties and bottlenecks are discussed during detailing so they can be resolved in time.

Agreed choices are worked into clear schematics with component designations, connection data and cross-references. Depending on the job we add terminal plans, cable and material lists and a 3D layout. The documentation covers what is needed to build, connect and later maintain the system.

Existing drawings can also be updated or converted to an agreed drawing standard. Up front we determine which source files are available, which changes are needed and in which format the drawing package is delivered.
