Control systems & software
DI Installaties develops control software and operator interfaces for machines. We translate the required machine functions into PLC programs and HMI screens, focusing on clear operation, an organised program structure and useful fault messages.
We support both new applications and modifications to existing controls. We agree on the functions, control platform and available software in advance. Where required, we also provide data exchange with other systems or a web interface for viewing machine information.
From agreed functionality to working software
We start with how the machine should work: which steps does the process follow, which signals are needed and how should the control system respond? Together with the client, we define the required functions, operating modes and operator controls. These agreements form the basis for the program structure and coordination with the electrical and mechanical design.
We structure the software into clear functions suited to the machine. The HMI gives the operator access to machine status, settings and messages. Where the assignment requires it, we develop interfaces for data exchange or a web interface. For existing controls, we first review the available source code and its interaction with the installation before making changes.
We test the agreed functions and coordinate testing on the machine with the parties involved. We record findings and adjustments. At handover, we agree which program files, backups and documentation will be supplied and identify any outstanding items. This makes the software structure clear and provides a basis for maintenance and future modifications.
