Machine retrofit
DI Installaties helps replace outdated or discontinued electrical machine components. This may involve a single relay or sensor, or the modernisation of an entire control system. We assess which replacement suits the existing connections, functions and available space. Wherever possible, we select a direct replacement. If this is not possible, we investigate whether an adapter or a targeted modification can provide a solution.
An updated control system for your existing machine
We determine which control components need replacing and how they will interface with the existing motors, sensors and other machine components. We also identify which functions from the existing software need to be retained or redeveloped. Depending on the agreed scope, the retrofit may include changes to the PLC, operator interface, drives, control cabinet and cabling.
We plan the conversion with you, agreeing on the required downtime, implementation and tests during recommissioning. Changes are incorporated into the drawings and software documentation as agreed. We discuss potential effects on machine safety in advance and involve a specialist to assess them where needed. This makes clear which components will be modernised and which checks are required before the machine returns to operation.
