We consider machine safety from the start of the electrical design. We discuss which safety functions are needed and how they interact with the control system and the machine. Where specialist assessment is required, we coordinate the detailed design with a machine safety specialist.
Safety as part of the design
DI Installaties incorporates the agreed safety requirements into the electrical design. We coordinate the safety functions, control system and connections for devices such as emergency stops and guard door monitoring.
Where needed, we involve a specialist for safety assessments and complex safety programming. We agree in advance who is responsible for assessment, implementation and validation. We document the decisions and design requirements as a basis for further engineering.
